The artworks displayed at Le Comptoir des Galeries share a commonality in their vibrant colors, both in form and in their committed, lively expression. The light yet sharp spirit of Sonia Delaunay, Niki de Saint Phalle, or Glen Baxter is discreetly present everywhere, playfully whistling, mocking, teasing our curiosity with delicate touches.

These artists challenge the concept of space and how society perceives it, whether public or private. Daniel Buren’s “la cabane éclatée,” a major work at Le Comptoir and the Hotel des Galeries, perfectly investigates the “deconstruction” of architectural structure, conventional space, and the presence of an ideological system.

Exquisite! Succulent dishes; discoveries of new flavors; very good presentation. The servers, both male and female, are very professional; young and dynamic. A very pleasant family evening to end the year.
